At the end of last month Jo Cole, St Anne’s Manager, celebrated 20 years at St Anne’s Nursing Home.
So what was happening when Jo first walked through the doors to St Anne’s on her first day as a nurse? In 1998:
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets came out,
- Titanic won 11 Oscars,
- Google was founded ,
- the Euro € was created,
Photographic evidence of Jo is extremely hard to come by, but we are assured that she has not changed one bit in her time at St Anne’s. Jo will celebrate with a trip to fly a biplane in the spring, when the weather gets a little warmer. She is our very own Amelia Mary Earhart, pictured in the photo above, who was an American aviation pioneer and author. Earhart was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.
