We would like to introduce Chris who has taken on the role of Deputy Manager at Stour Road Care Home.
Chris started as a night carer six years ago at a local home specialising in Dementia where he worked my way up the ranks to a care team leader. In 2017 Chris moved to a Nursing Home in Poole as a Care Manager in charge of a dementia unit with 24 residents and then as a Deputy manager of the same Nursing Home.
Chris fell in love with care work and has made it his career, even though he is a trained mechanic. Who would have thought that fixing cars has transferable skills to the Social Care Industry! It probably explains why he likes BMW’s so much……
Chris has an interest in moving and handling alongside understanding and caring for residents who live with dementia. Chris says “I would say that i aspire to manage a home in the future.”
Chris manages Stour Road Care Home, which offers residential care for up to 20 residents and is located in beautiful Christchurch, surrounded by many places of interest such as Christchurch Priory. The home meets the needs of older people looking for excellent Residential and Nursing Home care in a safe, warm, happy environment that is homely in scale. We cherish every person’s individuality and treat them with compassion, delivering a home from home living experience that is of excellent value.
You will see Chris at Stour Road Care Home most days. Why not pop in and say hello. He will be the one with the marvel lunch box.
